Harry Black

President

Harry's classes are one of the most popular for a reason, he expects you to come in and give it your all. His high paced, very technical classes have a reputation for being the best and hardest classes Pan Am Boxing Club has to offer. He will challenge you both physically and mentally to keep up with his unrelenting pace.

Sue Black

Executive Director

Susan's boxing and roadwork classes will remind you why you came to PABC. Her tough workout will push past your wall while working on your form, cardio, core and much more.

Dylan Martin

Head Trainer

Dylan has been a fighter and the PABC manager for as long as we can remember. Fall 2022 is a special time for him. He moved to Montreal to train full-time as an amateur boxer on Team Canada. This is wonderful news for him and the club. We are all rooting for his successful boxing career. Although he is physically away, he is still involved in the club’s operations. Most of his tasks are behind the scenes and managerial work.

Donald Gauthier

Trainer

Donald Gauthier. Don’s been with the club since January 2016 and the experience has changed his life for the better–meeting great people whom he’s become friends with. Recently, Don’s taken on new responsibilities at the club, and he sees it as a terrific opportunity to give back. He will be taking over Youth Boxing and private training for individuals and groups. Don loves HITT and plans to implement it in his boxing training. He is eager to share his boxing knowledge and experience to help others.

Ally Dumaua

 Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist

Ally has also been volunteering with the youth competitive team for several years. Learning from and assisting Mark Colins with that program.

Coming to us from a predominantly Strength & Conditioning background Ally will be meshing his physical preparation knowledge with his technical know-how in boxing to bring us a blend of training that fits perfectly with our club's approach. Joining us in a coaching capacity he will be working with private clients, groups, members, and volunteers, in addition to other duties around the club.

Volunteers

Our volunteers are the heart and soul of the club. Pan Am Boxing Club isn’t just a place to train, but a community where passion, dedication, and support are the foundations of everything we do.

We are proud to say that all our classes are run by volunteers, who have grown to love our club's culture and have become an integral part of it. With over 60 people dedicated to leading and assisting classes, manning the front desk, and coaching our fight team, our volunteers are the backbone of Pan Am Boxing.

Their hard work and commitment have helped us build a strong and supportive community that is open to everyone, regardless of skill level or background. From beginners to professional fighters, our team of volunteers is always ready to lend a helping hand and provide a positive and inclusive training environment.

We are incredibly grateful for their unwavering support and dedication, and we take pride in their accomplishments both in and out of the ring.

Boxing – Thursday 5:30 p.m.

"My main focus when teaching boxing is always the technique. I want people to know more than the basics, I want them to know different tricks that will make them dynamic, unpredictable fighters. I specially love head movement, chaining combos like the pros, and tricky footwork. My two favorite pro fighters to watch are Prince Naseem because of his unconventional fighting style, and Vasyl Lomanchenko because of his highly technical combinations and footwork. My goal is to become a certified boxing coach as soon as possible. I want to be able to do 1 on 1 sparring training sessions to teach people boxing skills in a more practical environment."

Boxing – Thursday 6:45 a.m.

Dave has been a member since March 2019, thanks to his daughter Dayna for getting him started. After participating in nearly every program Pan Am has offered (all virtual during the pandemic, the beginner sparring program, rec sparring, and fight team sparring), he had his first fight in 2023. He is now an assistant trainer, and substituted for various leaders, and now leads. His leading style can be described as a tough grind, focusing on high-level fitness, and clean, crisp boxing fundamentals.

Don't let her size fool you, the homicidal Hamster's class is tough. I've recently heard comments such as "she's going crazy out there!". Her spin classes are tough, including weights, jumps and long climbs are to be expected from her!

Boxing – Tuesday 12:00 p.m.

"I'm a 41-year-old asthmatic nerd who was bitten by the (radioactive?) boxing bug in October 2013. Since then, I've dropped 60 pounds and became the winner of Fight Club VII, Fight Games II, and Set the Pace for Pan Am Place II. When not at the boxing gym, don't be surprised to find me reintroducing myself to my fellow co-workers because they don't recognize me anymore. Or explaining in meetings that the dark circles under my eyes aren't because I'm tired, but because I sparred the day before."
